Programs for Youth

A place where students can "come as they are" and have fun with friends in the Christian community; Hear the gospel, grow in their knowledge of our personal God who loves them and desires to see each student make their faith their own.

Middle School Grades 6-8

Middle School Students meet in the Confirmation Room located on the 3rd floor during the Sunday School hour. The Confirmation class explores the roots of our faith.

High School Grades 9-12

High School Sunday School students are going through a DVD series called "Nooma" by Rob Bell. A present day "parable" to help jump start conversations. Once a month we will also be meeting at BauHaus for a coffee hour-where we will catch up and pray with one another. Then everyother month we will be visiting a different church in the city. So we can continue to build community.

Prime Time: Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room

A safe place where students can explore their faith and are challenged to seek Christ, grow in Christ and ask questions so they can rise up in a faith that is their own. They will be challenged to participate as missionaries in the city, in their community, as well overseas as the next generation of leaders in our church.

Our Mission

Henri Nouwen once said, "we cannot force anyone to such a personal and intimate change of heart, but we can offer the space where such a change can take place."

We desire to create a place where our young men and women can grow:

  • In knowledge of God's word
  • In relationships with each other
  • In Service and obedience
  • In worship and in sharing the gospel

Through youth events, Sunday morning, small groups, Wednesday night Prime Time, service projects and retreats, we disciple the next generation of leaders in their growth toward a real and tangible relationship with Jesus Christ.

My Philosophy of ministry comes from 2nd Corinthians 6:3-10
